Area plans and development briefs
The planning service prepares area action plans and development briefs for sites in the city with potential for development or in need of regeneration. The main purpose of these documents are to:
- promote opportunities for development as they arise and to attract investment
- provide advice and guidance as to the types of development appropriate and promote high quality design
