Important changes
Planning permission extension arrangements and non-material amendments
From Thursday October 1, 2009 the Government has announced that the power to extend the time limits for existing planning permissions and to apply to make non-material amendments to planning permissions. Details available from the Planning Portal.
Design and Access Statement
From Wednesday July 1, 2009 new requirements have been introduced for completing a Design and Access Statement for planning applications.
Householder Appeals Procedures
The Government have introduce changes to the householder appeals procedure with effect from the April 6 2009. For further information, visit the Planning Portal.
Permitted Development
The Government have introduced changes to permitted development with effect from October 1 2008. For further information, visit the Planning Portal.
