Reporting barking dogs

If you are being disturbed by a barking dog, Public Protection can offer advice and assistance.

When contacting Public Protection, provide the address for where the dog is kept.

To make a judgement on the level of disturbance being experienced and whether any action can be taken, an Officer will need to witness the barking.

If the noise is during the day and is coming from a council property, contact your local housing office and they will take the details and investigate further.

Outside hours

If the barking occurs outside normal office hours please contact:

Phone: (01902) 552999

If you leave a message with the operator, they will then pass the information to an Officer for investigation.
