What should I do to report a stray dog during office hours?

If you see a stray dog any time between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, you should report it to City Direct by calling:

  • Phone: 01902 551155

Once reported, City Direct will contact the public protection service on your behalf and a dog warden will be sent to collect the stray dog.

If you can contain the dog this will make it easier for the officer to collect and remove the animal to the council's contracted kennels.
