Town centre management - CCTV

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is used throughout Wolverhampton as a crime reduction measure. There are about 400 CCTV cameras in the city covering schools, community centres, sports grounds, housing and other areas. We are currently undertaking a review of CCTV in the city and are developing plans for a purpose-built monitoring centre for the city.
