The Virtual Workspace

Developed by Nord Anglia for Worcestershire and Wolverhampton Authorities, the Virtual-Workspace is a dynamic, secure, web portal designed to support 14-19 learners.  Learners have their own private web space which allows them to manage their time, work and future plans and access a wide range of learning resources, 24/7, from wherever they are.

The online learning platform consists of a number of key areas for learners including, interactive learning materials, personalised workspace, mentoring service, communication channels, advice and the opportunity to earn points to redeem against a range of rewards.

The Virtual-Workspace also supports teachers by providing a wide range of curriculum relevant materials and resources.  Other facilities include assessment systems, ability to share resources, CPD and online ICT skills training.
