CARD (Choose a Real Deal)

This programme has been designed to motivate and engage learners aged 14 and over through an agreement based on a promise for future progression and a process of active engagement in appropriate learning opportunities, tailored to the individual's needs.

CARD is the structure under which Personalised Learning Activities are generated through Aimhigher, Gifted and Talented, Enrichment and any other informal learning opportunity. For example, this means that if you are thinking of working in a particular area of employment, opportunities will be developed for you to show you what that job is like and what you will need to get there, if you decide that it's the thing you want to do.
