School meals strategy
The school meals review final report, approved by Cabinet in April 2007, was the result of a two year investigation into school food across the city.
The report contained a number of recommendations for future actions, brought together by a revised school meals strategy.
The strategy supports the work that the council and its key partners undertake to ensure the continued availability of wholesome, nutritious and popular school meals to all our city’s children and young people.
The school meals strategy is supported by the council's Children and Young People's Plan 2006 to 2009.
