School meals

Over the past six years, the council has been working towards providing healthier meals for Wolverhampton's children and young people.

We introduce new menus in our schools at the start of every autumn term in September and we continue to meet the Government’s statutory standards for school lunches.

A recent survey comparing Wolverhampton with other providers indicated that the City's school meals are in the top 25% across the country for quality, value and nutritional standards.
