Targeted Capital Fund

The Targeted Capital Fund is made available to Local Authorities (LA's) to support specific criteria such as:

  • school kitchens
  • raising standards
  • removing surplus places
  • expansion of successful and popular maintained schools
  • fresh start schools
  • federations of schools and groups of schools
  • maintained boarding schools
  • non maintained special schools
  • music and dance scheme schools

Access to funding is via application to the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF)
