Suitability Assessments
These assessments are carried out on individual internal spaces and external areas.
The assessments cover the following aspects of teaching and non-teaching accommodation, including staff facilities:
- number, size, shape and location of spaces
- environmental conditions
- fittings and fixed furniture
- information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure
- health and safety/security issues
The school accommodation is also measured against the DCSF building bulletins 98 and 99 to identify any shortfalls. |
