Wolverhampton Parent Partnership Service
Individual support for parents and carers
The Parent Partnership Service is a vital source of information and support for local parents and carers whose children are identified as having special educational needs or where there are concerns about their progress in school. Parents and carers need to be aware of their rights in their children's education and know where to access help and information.
It is recognised that parents and carers play an important role in their children's education. They know their children better than anyone and the best results are achieved for their children when they are involved.
To help parents and carers be involved they can access information and individual support from our team of Parent Partnership Officers. The type of support available includes:
- Neutral and confidential advice
- Preparation for school meetings
- Support at school meetings
- Help with letter and report writing
- Special educational needs and disability information
- Support throughout the statutory assessment process
If you feel the Parent Partnership Service can help you please contact us.
