Early education

The development of childcare in Wolverhampton is the responsibility of the Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership.

Monitoring of private, independent and voluntary childcare is also undertaken by the partnership.

Early Years Childcare Sufficiency report

An assessment involving comprehensive research has been undertaken to assess the demand and supply of childcare in the city and the 15 Local Area and Neighbrourhood Agreement areas.

The report will help the council when planning the development of flexible, affordable, accessible childcare to meet the needs of children and their parents.
