Audit of accounts 2010/11

Inspection

In accordance with the Audit Commission Act 1998, the city council's auditors, Messrs PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP of 19 Cornwall Street, Birmingham, B3 2DT, have appointed: 

  • 10am on Monday August 22, 2011
  • At the offices of the Assistant Director - Corporate Services (Section 151 Officer), First Floor, Civic Centre, Wolverhampton

As the time and place (on or after) which any local government elector for the Wolverhampton area (or his/her representative) has the opportunity to question the auditor about the city council's accounts for the year ended Thursday 31 March, 2011.

Viewing the accounts

The accounts and supporting documents may be inspected by any interested person who may make copies thereof.

Accounts and documents will be available to view Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm at the offices of the Assistant Director - Corporate Services (Section 151 Officer), First Floor, Civic Centre, St Peter's Square, Wolverhampton.

Objections to be received in advance

Electors can also make objections to any of the accounts but the auditor must have previously received written notice of the objection and the grounds on which it is made. 

At the same time, a copy of the written notice must be sent to the person named below:

This must be done between Monday 25 July and Friday 19 August, 2011.
