Accessibility

Interactive maps are designed for use in Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 and above. Although every effort has been made to ensure compatibility with other browsers, Wolverhampton City Council makes no claims or guarantees regarding this.

As maps by their very nature are grapical expressions of data and information, it is not possible to offer a totally accessible version of our interactive maps service. We do however provide a 'Text summary only' of the information.

Interactive maps are best viewed at resolutions of 1024 x 768 and above.

The interactive maps service can be accessed using a dial up connection however, performance is greatly increased when accessed via broadband.

Feedback

We are always looking to improve and increase the range of information types available on our interactive map service.

We would welcome your feedback about how you found this new service to use and what types of information you would like to see made available in the future.

Geographical information systems (GIS)

Our interactive map service uses a geographical information system (GIS) supplied by ESRI. See their intenet guide for more information about GIS systems and their application.
