The Exclusive Right of Burial for a grave can be purchased either before an imminent funeral or in reservation for future use. In both cases the Exclusive Right of Burial is granted for 75 years.
This will be dealt with by the person arranging the funeral - which in most cases will be the funeral director.
Burials take place at all of our cemeteries between 9am and 3pm, Monday to Friday.
If you wish to purchase the Exclusive Right of Burial to a grave, use our online e-form (secure). Alternatively, contact us at the Bereavement Centre.

The burial records and registers for our cemeteries are held at the Bereavement Centre at the Civic Centre.
A microfilm copy of the registers is available for public viewing at the Wolverhampton Archives and Local Studies Centre, Snow Hill, Wolverhampton.
