Age Concern aims to promote the well-being and relief of older people in order to help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.

The charity caters for older people (over 50's), both active and frail. Services and support include:

  • day centres
  • visiting service
  • advocacy
  • advice and information services
  • holidays
  • insurance
  • day trips
  • wills
  • basic computer training
  • community safety.
  • Tax help
  • Hospital discharge service
  • Befriending service
  • Shopping project
