Baltic States events - Presentations and resources 

Wolverhampton City Council in partnership with UK Trade & Investment and Midlands World Trade Forum hosted a breakfast event at Wolverhampton Racecourse to give businesses a unique opportunity to find out about potential trade links with the Baltic States.

The event was chaired by Peter Mathews CMG, president of MWTF and of Black Country Chamber of Commerce  and attended by Councillor Trudy Bowen, The Mayor of Wolverhampton.

The Lithuanian Ambassador, His Excellency Vygaudas Usackas, spoke about opportunities in Lithuania and John Beevor, Honorary Consul for the Republic of Estonia gave an overview of Estonia while Indra Freiberga from the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia spoke about her country.

Advisers from UK Trade & Investment were on hand to lend support to those businesses wishing to pursue opportunities and facilitate visits to the Baltic States.

The event was attended by businesses from across the West Midlands and as far afield as Cheshire and Hampshire
