Single Regeneration Budget (SRB)

The Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) is funded via the Regional Development Agency Advantage West Midlands. The funding aims to tackle regeneration with a specific area based focus, as well as having a wider scope to tackle specific issues of deprivation within the city. The schemes also have to provide details of sustainability beyond the lifetime of the programmes to give long term benefit to the residents of the city.

Wolverhampton currently receives funding for the following SRB initiative:

SRB 5 - Opening Up Opportunities

  • £2.21 million of funds available over a seven year period, up to 31st March 2006.
  • Resources available to regenerate the Black and ethnic minority community within Wolverhampton.
