Summer Row

Summer Row

Summer Row is a multi million pound expansion of the city centre's shopping, retail and leisure offer.

This substantial mixed-use commercial, residential and leisure development will bring forward major department stores with dozens of other retail outlets, stylish new apartments, bars, restaurants, underground car parking, public open space and much more in one of the Midlands most impressive developments

Our image gallery provides an insight into how Summer Row will look when completed.

Anchor stores

Debenhams have been announced as the anchor tenant for the Summer Row site and will occupy a store in the new scheme to be located within the vicinity of Temple Street, Worcester Street and Cleveland Street.

Marks and Spencer will act as a second anchor store and will occupy a 97,000 sq ft store over three levels in the iconic building to be located at the junction of Temple Street, Cleveland Street and Snow Hill.

Funding

Multi Development has confirmed that the development will be delayed because its development partners have not made their funding available on time.

However, Multi have said that they are still committed to delivering this project. The Council has recently agreed there will be an extension of the Development Agreement with Multi until December 2010 for them to be able to secure new sources of funding and make the necessary preparations to deliver the scheme.
