Stafford Road (Goodyear)

A planning application for the northern portion of the Goodyear site off Stafford Road was approved in December 2008

The application includes:

• 46 acres of housing providing approximately 700 homes,
• a new park
• land for a new school.

The development should allow Goodyear to safeguard 500 jobs on the southern portion of the site.

Outline planning permission has also been granted for a mixed use development for residential, local retail, community and ancillary uses.

Discussions are underway with St. Modwen regarding the submission of reserved matters and an application is expected shortly.
