Building Schools for the Future

Wolverhampton has been placed in wave five local authorities of the Building Schools for the Future programme.

Work is currently under way to rebuild all of the city's secondary schools as part of a £370 million capital building project.

Building Schools for the Future means:

substantial new investment in secondary school buildings and in
specialist facilities like sport, science and computer technology
helping all our children and local communities succeed through
new ways of learning that suit their individual needs
