West Midlands Centre of Excellence
The West Midlands Centre of Excellence is one of 9 centres of excellence in England set up by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) to improve the efficiency of Council services.
The centre assists local authorities implement the National Procurement Strategy for Local Government.
It aims to connect public authority decision makers with the latest in efficient procurement, and provide a platform to exchange information and encourage collaborative developments for future requirements.
Black Country Purchasing Consortium
The Black Country Purchasing Consortium (BCPC) exists to deliver improved value for money for its Member authorities by aggregating the spend across the authorities and by reducing tendering costs.

Midlands Procurement Network
Wolverhampton is the current chair of the Midlands Procurement Network, this forum of Local Authority Procurement Managers across the East and West Midlands meets together four times per year to discuss relevant procurement matters.
Wolverhampton City NHS Primary Care Trust
The Council is working with the local Primary Care Trust to see where joint procurements could be of benefit both organisations.
