The highway order, called the Stopping Up Of Highways (City of Wolverhampton) (No.1) Order 2008 and made under Section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, was confirmed by the Secretary of State on 8 February 2008.
The order relates to the highways affected by the scheme bounded by Victoria Street and Worcester Street to the west, Snow Hill to the east and Cleveland Street, Bell Street, St. John's Street and Mander Centre (including the Mander Centre Service Yard) to the north, and Temple Street to the south.
The order is to come into force on the date on which notice that it is given is first published. This was Friday, 22 February 2008.
A copy of the order can be inspected at the offices of Wolverhampton City Council, Legal and Procurement Reception Desk 23, First floor, Civic Centre, St. Peter's Square, Wolverhampton WV1 1RG between 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am - 4.30pm Fridays.
