About Summer Row

Wolverhampton's Summer Row development will provide shops, pedestrian streets and plazas creating new cohesion to Wolverhampton city centre.

Multi Development has been selected by the council as the development partner for the redevelopment of a major retail led, 3.2 hectare (8 acre) site situated at the southern edge of the City Centre - boardered by Cleveland Street, Snow Hill, Temple Street and Worcester Street.

Summer Row is an essential element in the continued regeneration of Wolverhampton city centre. The new scheme has tremendous potential and will benefit the local business community and its customers, making a positive shopping experience for Wolverhampton's residents and those that work in the city.

Development details

This mixed use scheme comprises approximately 50,769 square metres (546,500 sq ft) of new retail and leisure space, approximately 140 apartments and an 800 space underground car park.

The retail and leisure offer includes a major department store of approximately 10,200 square metres (110,000sq ft), 3 anchor stores, 5 mid size retail units, 81 further retail units of various sizes, a selection of cafes, bars, restaurants and a multiplex cinema.

The scheme is scheduled to open in 2010.
