Club launches hockey sessions for beginners and ex-players

Hockey players can get back in the swing of it at special sessions starting at WV Active Aldersley next month.

Wolverhampton and Tettenhall Hockey Club and Great Britain Hockey is holding Back to Hockey sessions for beginners and former players starting on Monday 12 September, 2016, from 7pm to 8pm.

Councillor Steve Evans, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for City Environment, said: "I am pleased that we are working with Wolverhampton and Tettenhall Hockey Club and Great Britain Hockey to offer these sessions to people who either haven't played the game for a long time, or who have never picked up a hockey stick before."

Before that, WV Active Aldersley hosts Wolverhampton and Tettenhall Hockey Club's Hockey Fest - a family friendly day of activities for people of all ages on Saturday 3 September, 2016.
