There are several reasons why we may have not collected your bin. Find out what options are available to you including reporting a missed bin.

Bad Weather

All waste service may be affected by bad weather. This includes bulky item collections, household waste recycling centers (HWRC) and kerbside collections. Please check our social media/website for updates.

Please leave your waste and recycling bin at the kerbside. The crew will collect this by the end of that week - if it is safe to do so.

Contaminated

If the crew have reported your bin as contaminated, we are unable to rearrange collection.

You will need to remove the contaminants.


If none of the reasons above apply, please dispose of your waste at either of our two Household Waste Recycling Centre’s (HWRC’s) - the Tip.

Tip Information


Please do not report bins on the day they are missed, as the bin crew may still be completing collections so it may be picked up later that day.

If all other bins on your road have been collected, use the form below to report a missed collection.

If your bin is missed contact us. You have two working days to report it. For example, if your bin was missed on Monday then you should report it no later than 5pm on Wednesday.

If your bin has been tagged, you will need to remove the contaminated items and present at your next scheduled collection date.

Was your bin due to be collected today?

It maybe that we haven’t completed our rounds for today, and we’re unable to accept reports of missed bins on the same day. If your bin still hasn’t been collected on the next working day, please contact us.

Have you put your bin out on the right collection day?
As your bins have not been put out on the correct day, we are unable to rearrange a collection for you. If you are unsure of your collection dates, you can check them here

Did you put your bins out before 6.30am?
As your bins were not put out before 6.30am on the correct collection day, we are unable to rearrange a collection for you.
Has it been more than 2 working days since your bin was missed?
As it has been more than 2 working days since your bins were missed, we are unable to rearrange a collection for you.
