It is holding an information event for students who are interested in its Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, Childcare and Mentoring courses.
All courses are vocationally based and can lead to employment or further education.
Students who have previously completed the Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools course have typically found employment as teaching assistants in schools or gone on to university to work towards degrees in, for example, primary education and audiology. Meanwhile, many Childcare students have gone on to work as nursery nurses.
Councillor Phil Page, Wolverhampton City Council's Cabinet Member for Schools, Skills and Learning, said: "The vocational courses offered by the Education Studies team are a great first step for people who are looking for a career in education or childcare, and already dozens of people have gone on to find work in local schools and nurseries."
People can find out more about the courses on offer by coming along to the information event which takes place at Beckminster House, Birches Barn Road, Pennfields, on Tuesday 17 March from 1pm to 4.30pm, or by calling the Education Studies team on 01902 551530.
The Adult Education Service is also holding a celebration event on the same day to recognise the achievement of students who have recently achieved qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools and Childcare.
