Festive floral gifts to go on sale

A range of festive gifts produced by employees at a unique plant nursery in Wolverhampton will go on sale next week.

People with a learning disability who work at Old Tree Nursery have been busy preparing hundreds of their ever popular Christmas wreaths, bowls and planted arrangements which will be sold in the Civic Centre foyer from Monday to Friday (16 to 20 December, 2013) between 10am and 4pm.

The Wolverhampton City Council run nursery employs adults with a learning disability, giving them experience of the world of work.

Manager Andrew Skidmore said: "We will be selling a wide range of fantastic decorations which are sure to bring that festive touch to people's homes this Christmas."

Old Tree Nursery is on Pendeford Hall Lane, opposite Pendeford Mill Nature Reserve, and is open all year round. For details, please call 01902 786042.
