The purpose of this report is to highlight some of the council's significant achievements over the last year.

Report highlights 

Some of the 2012 - 13 report highlights include:

  • bringing major investors into the Black Country Enterprise Zone and the i54 Technology Park
  • providing more opportunities for residents to be involved in the council's decision making such as the Budget Challenge, the Council Tax reduction scheme and the Community Hubs consultations
  • opportunities for many to celebrate during the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the Olympic Torch Relay
  • commitment to creating a 'Dementia Friendly' city
  • transforming the learning environment with the Building Schools for the Future programme
  • new innovative spirit to keep our customers informed
