Renew or reserve library items
Renew or reserve library items in person or by phone.
If you haven't finished with your books, CDs or DVDs, then you can renew or reserve them in a number of ways.
You will need your borrower number (located on your library card) and PIN number to renew or reserve library items online. If you do not have a PIN number you can request a PIN number.
You can renew items by telephone 24 hours a day.
When calling, you will need the barcode number from your library ticket:
- Telephone: 01902 552500
You can renew your library items at any Wolverhampton library, regardless of which library you borrowed the item from.
Reserve an item from another library
If your local library does not stock the particular item you want, or you can't find the item in the library catalogue, they can try to buy it or borrow it through the Inter-Library Loan scheme.
The Inter-Library Loan scheme also allows you to request out of print items, photocopies from periodicals and serials.
It costs £2.50 to reserve an item from another library for adults and £1 per item for 11 to 17 year olds.
You can only borrow items through this scheme by visiting your local library.
