Age UK have specialist Work & Enterprise Advisors operating at their offices in Walsall, Wolverhampton and Dudley to support those aged over 50, from across the Black Country, to move into employment, training or independent job searching and overcome barriers to employment.

The service is free to participants and support is tailored to suit individual needs and delivered at a time and place convenient to them.  As specialists in this area, we understand the difficulties encountered by the over 50s in an ever-changing job market:

  • Many years may have been spent learning a trade or skill which is no longer in demand

  • Caring responsibilities may affect availability for employment
