Mayor of Wolverhampton to host Charity Pamper Day

Mayor of Wolverhampton, Councillor Elias Mattu, is holding a Charity Pamper Day in aid of his chosen charities on Tuesday 8 August, from 10am to 5pm.

There are activities for the children, like face painting and storytelling, giving the grown-ups the chance to sit back and relax with a host of treatments on offer in the Mayoral Suite on the third floor of the Civic Centre, St Peter's Square.

Facials, manicures waxing, threading, Henna art and Indian head massages are available.

There is no need to book an appointment and all treatments will be offered in return for a donation to the Mayor's charities: Interfaith Wolverhampton, Wolverhampton Sickle Cell Care Centre, Street Pastors, Wolverhampton Central Youth Theatre and Acorns Children's Hospice.

Mayor Mattu said: "I hope people will come along and enjoy the many treatments we have on offer at this family event.

"Not only will they get the chance to relax but they will also be helping charities at the same time."
